ALBANY, NY- McNamee Lochner P.C. one of the Capital Region's oldest and largest law firms, announced that eight attorneys in the firm have been named Super Lawyers in the 2010 Upstate New York Edition of Super Lawyer magazine.

The attorneys are Scott A. Barbour (civil litigation defense), Amy S. O'Connor (elder law), Peter A. Pastore (bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights, banking, business litigation), John J. Privitera (environmental litigation, environmental, land use/zoning), Timothy B. Thornton (estate planning and probate, trust and estate litigation, real estate), Bruce J. Wagner (family law, appellate, and collaborative law), and David J. Wukitsch (business litigation, employment and labor).

Super Lawyer magazine conducts annual surveys to obtain candidates. New York is one of three states where attorneys are surveyed annually by region, rather than statewide. The candidate pool includes those who have been in practice for a minimum of five years. According to Super Lawyer magazine, "We ask the lawyers to nominate the best attorneys they've personally observed in action." Only five percent of the total lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.

Founded in 1863, the McNamee Lochner P.C. currently employs 33 attorneys and has offices at 677 Broadway in Albany and 646 Plank Road in Clifton Park. For additional information about McNamee Lochner P.C., visit www.mltw.comor call 518-447-3200.
