Rafael A. Olazagasti, IIIOf Counsel
Rafael A. Olazagasti represents public and private sector clients in all aspects of labor and employment law. He has served as lead negotiator for dozens of labor negotiations, and has extensive experience handling grievances and representing clients in labor arbitrations and mediations. He regularly provides counsel to clients regarding personnel decisions, employment policies, wage and hour issues, and disability and other leave related matters. Rafael’s experience working as a senior leader within organizations, both as General Counsel and as a human resources executive, provides him with a unique perspective that greatly informs his approach to employment and labor law compliance and labor relations. Rafael was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at St. Lawrence University, where he taught negotiations and law courses within the Educational Leadership Program. He is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial & Labor Relations, and the Columbia University School of Law.
