Pro Bono Work
McNamee Lochner has a long and rich tradition of public service that is an integral part of the history, ethic, and operation of our firm. As a local and national full-service law firm, McNamee Lochner handles a full spectrum of pro bono matters in conjunction with The Legal Project and The Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York. Both organizations are private, not-for-profits designed to provide free and low cost legal services, education, and advocacy for populations that would otherwise have barriers to accessing the legal system. McNamee Lochner attorneys have handled matters involving significant legal issues with far-reaching effect on behalf of these organizations, including cases on behalf of domestic violence victims, etc. etc.
The firm encourages its attorneys to handle pro bono and other public service matters in any area in which they are interested. In addition to handling pro bono matters, our attorneys serve on the boards of legal services organizations to ensure individuals and organizations are able to access quality legal representation.
