He has experience forming and administering family entities and has prepared sales to defective grantor trusts. Mr. Cirincione handles all phases of the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings.

Nicholas L. ZappThe Law Firm of McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C. is pleased to announce that Nicholas L. Zapp has joined the firm as an associate, working in the firm’s Family Law, Environmental Law, Trusts and Estates, Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense practice areas.

Mr. Zapp is a graduate of Hobart College (magna cum laude) 2013, where he also played Division III Football, serving as Team Captain during his senior year. During his tenure at Hobart, the football team completed their first undefeated season in in almost 60 years.

After completing his Bachelor’s, Mr. Zapp attended Albany Law School of Union University, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Zapp served as Associate Editor for the Albany Law Review and participated in the Pro Bono Scholars program, a 12 week acceleration program which enabled him to work full time in the Columbia County Public Defender’s office while completing the academic requirements for his Juris Doctor. Through this program, Mr. Zapp was able to take the Bar Exam early. He was admitted to practice in the Third Department in June 2016.

Mr. Lamme’s practice spans a wide range of litigation areas, including contract, environmental and land use, labor and employment, personal injury, and trust/estate litigation. Mr. Lamme has experience representing clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in complex settlement negotiations.

Mr. Lamme is also experienced with real property tax assessment challenges and Article 78 proceedings in which he has successfully challenged determinations of various boards, municipalities and state agencies. Mr. Lamme is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York.

Amy S. O’Connor, a shareholder with the law firm of McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P. C., has been named as Chair of the Firm’s Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Practice Group.

She succeeds the former Chair, Richard D. Cirincione, who along with Scott A. Barbour, became Managing Principal of the firm on January 1, 2015. Mr. Cirincione will continue to practice in the Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Practice Group with Ms. O’Connor and the department’s other attorneys, Timothy B. Thornton, William S. Haase, Harry P. Meislahn, Jacob F. Lamme and Michael A. Colton.

Ms. O’Connor’s practice encompasses all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, trusts, guardianships, and elder law, with a focus on assisting elderly clients and their families with legal and tax issues, including estate tax planning, preservation of assets, long-term care planning, and eligibility for governmental benefits.

Ms. Vanderwarker is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management (summa cum laude) 2008, and Albany Law School (summa cum laude) 2014, where she also served as Executive Editor for Lead Articles of the Albany Law Review. During law school, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lawrence E. Kahn, District Judge, Northern District of New York.

Ms. Vanderwarker is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.
