Shareholder April Dalbec, a member of McNamee Lochner’s matrimonial and family law, criminal defense, and personal injury departments, has been named to the Executive Committee of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association, representing the Third Judicial District.

The Executive Committee of the Trial Lawyers Section is comprised of 4 Officers, Section Delegates to the NYSBA House of Delegates, former section chairs, and two representatives from each Judicial District in the State. The Trial Lawyers Section provides support to all trial attorneys and law students in the New York State Bar Association.

Bruce Wagner will give an accredited 1 hour CLE presentation on the topic of “Matrimonial & Family Law” for the New York State Bar Association’s UPDATE 2016 program on October 31, 2016, in Albany, and again on November 2, 2016, in Manhattan.

Mr. Cirincione’s practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, estate litigation, and guardianship law, including appeals. He provides planning for high net worth individuals including the creation of charitable planning devices. He has experience forming and administering family entities and has prepared sales to defective grantor trusts. Mr. Cirincione handles all phases of the administration of estates and trusts, including the preparation of estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings.

Nicholas L. ZappThe Law Firm of McNamee Lochner P.C.. is pleased to announce that Nicholas L. Zapp has joined the firm as an associate, working in the firm’s Family Law, Environmental Law, Trusts and Estates, Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense practice areas.

Mr. Zapp is a graduate of Hobart College (magna cum laude) 2013, where he also played Division III Football, serving as Team Captain during his senior year. During his tenure at Hobart, the football team completed their first undefeated season in in almost 60 years.

After completing his Bachelor’s, Mr. Zapp attended Albany Law School of Union University, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Zapp served as Associate Editor for the Albany Law Review and participated in the Pro Bono Scholars program, a 12 week acceleration program which enabled him to work full time in the Columbia County Public Defender’s office while completing the academic requirements for his Juris Doctor. Through this program, Mr. Zapp was able to take the Bar Exam early. He was admitted to practice in the Third Department in June 2016.

The shareholders of McNamee Lochner P.C.. are pleased to announce that Mathew P. Barry and April M. Dalbec have been made shareholders in the Firm effective July 1, 2013.

Mathew P. Barry practices in the firm’s litigation and commercial lending groups with a focus on commercial litigation and real property disputes for businesses and individuals. Mr. Barry has been involved in numerous complex litigation cases and he is an experienced trial attorney in the state and federal courts in both New York and Massachusetts.

April M. Dalbec is a member the of firm’s matrimonial, family law, personal injury, and criminal defense practice groups. Ms. Dalbec is an experienced civil and criminal litigator who litigates in both state and federal matters. She has extensive trial and litigation experience, including high profile criminal matters, and has handled successful civil matters resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for her clients.

Each year, only one attorney out of the NYSBA’s 50,000+ members is recognized with this prestigious award.
