About 1 in 8 women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime – a statistic that makes certain almost everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way. As a firm, we’ve decided to make a difference by walking and raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Albany Walk. The Albany event is one of nearly 300 held across the country. To further support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Albany, our firm will be sponsoring a water table at this year’s event.

The donations raised by our team and our firm’s sponsorship will enable investment in groundbreaking breast cancer research, free information and services for women diagnosed with the disease, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Our donations will help more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors celebrate another birthday this year!

Since 1993, more than 11 million walkers have raised more than $685 million – the Making Strides walks are the largest network of cancer awareness events in the nation.
