Managing Partner, Scott Barbour, will be speaking on “Handling a Federal Court Deposition: Difference Between State and Federal” on November 2, 2106, in Albany. This accredited Continuing Legal Education presentation is being offered by the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Section, and the Committee on Continuing Legal Education of the New York State Bar Association as part of a larger program on the Handling and Taking Depositions.

Scott Barbour and David J. Wukitsch have been invited by the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York to serve as Mediators in the Court’s new Mandatory Mediation Program which begins January 1, 2014. Mediators were invited to serve based on prior ADR experience and upon the recommendation of the Judges of the Court. Mr. Barbour also served on the ADR Committee of the Northern District which developed the Mediation Program.
