Amy S. O’Connor Appointed Chair of Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Department

Amy S. O’Connor, a shareholder with the law firm of McNamee Lochner P.C., has been named as Chair of the Firm’s Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Practice Group.

She succeeds the former Chair, Richard D. Cirincione, who along with Scott A. Barbour, became Managing Principal of the firm on January 1, 2015. Mr. Cirincione will continue to practice in the Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Practice Group with Ms. O’Connor and the department’s other attorneys, Timothy B. Thornton, William S. Haase, Harry P. Meislahn, Jacob F. Lamme and Michael A. Colton.

Ms. O’Connor’s practice encompasses all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, trusts, guardianships, and elder law, with a focus on assisting elderly clients and their families with legal and tax issues, including estate tax planning, preservation of assets, long-term care planning, and eligibility for governmental benefits.
