Our real estate section has a long tradition of supplying comprehensive
service in all areas of real estate practice. We devote significant
time to the real estate needs of institutional clients and real
estate developers. Our clients receive a full range of real estate
services in areas such as major improvement and construction projects;
real estate development; zoning and other municipal regulatory work;
wetlands and storm water control; financing of real estate projects,
investments in real estate, and the sale, purchase and leasing of
real estate.
We have experience in all aspects of real estate transactions in
New York, including the requirements of New York's rigorous local
and state land use, zoning, and environmental laws and laws concerning
the offering of real estate syndications such as homeowner associations,
condominiums and cooperatives. Our real estate practice handles
permits and related matters, acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing
and the development of offering plans. As part of our banking practice,
we are extensively involved in commercial real estate lending matters.
