Mr. Pastore joined the firm in 1981, has been a principal since 1987, and is currently the managing principal. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation Department. Mr. Pastore received a J.D. degree from Albany Law School of Union University in 1980 and a B.A. degree from Stanford University in 1977. He was a member of the Albany Law Review and also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Pastore was confidential law clerk from 1980 to 1981 to The Honorable A. Franklin Mahoney, Presiding Justice, New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Third Department. Mr. Pastore is a frequent lecturer on the subject of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. He is a former President of the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association.
Mr. Pastore's practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, loan workouts, creditors’ rights litigation and general commercial litigation. He represents secured lenders in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, as well as commercial landlords, financing companies and unsecured creditors’ committees. Mr. Pastore is also admitted to practice law in Florida.
