Mr. Hall joined the firm in 1992. Mr. Hall received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Western New England College School of Law in 1990 and a B.A. degree from Siena College in 1987. Before joining the firm, Mr. Hall served for two years as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department. He practices in the areas of state and federal court litigation, municipal law, and government relations.
Michael Hall practices in the areas of state and federal court litigation, banking, and government relations. He handles a variety of commercial litigation matters and bank fraud cases. In his government relations practice, Mr. Hall has represented private, governmental and regional clients on the state, county and local levels in financing transactions, contract matters and litigation.
Mr. Hall served for eight years as the 11th Ward representative on the Albany City Common Council, three of those years as the body’s President Pro Tempore. He is the immediate past-president of the board of directors of the Albany Rowing Center, a community-based not-for-profit. Mr. Hall also serves as a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
