Mr. Dorfman joined the firm as of counsel in 1995. He received a LL.M. degree in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 1961 and a LL.B. degree from Albany Law School of Union University, where he served as a member of the Albany Law Review, in 1953. He received a B.S. degree from Syracuse University in 1950. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Dorfman's areas of practice are concentrated in taxation, estate planning and administration. Mr. Dorfman advises individuals, business executives and owners of closely-held businesses with respect to corporate, estate, probate and gift tax matters and in the restructuring of closely-held businesses.
