Ms. O’Connor joined the firm as of counsel in 2003. She received a J.D. degree from University of Notre Dame Law School in 1984 and a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Duke University in 1980.

Ms. O’Connor is a member of the Elder Law and Trust and Estates Sections of the New York State Bar Association, the Albany County Bar and Albany County Women’s Bar Associations, and the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. O’Connor is a frequent lecturer on numerous elder law and estate planning topics for programs sponsored by the New York State Bar Association. In addition, she is a member of the Council on Women’s Studies at Duke University.

Ms. O’Connor’s practice encompasses all aspects of trusts and estates law and elder law, including estate planning, drafting of trusts, wills and other instruments for wealth transfer, probate and administration of estates and trusts, as well as long-term care planning, asset preservation and disability planning.
