We provide specialized real estate services which includes representation of lenders, purchasers and sellers in residential transactions. Counseling to clients with respect to lending practices including alternative financing agreements, loan modifications, foreclosures of distressed and tax delinquent properties, loan workouts, like-kind and three and four party exchanges, zoning and subdivision matters. The real estate department focuses on keeping its clients continually informed. We understand a real estate transaction can be daunting and the department's staff strives to make it as stress free as possible.
The department's practice can handle real estate matters which include the representation of institutional lenders throughout the United States, like-kind, three and four party exchanges, zoning and subdivision matters. We represent sellers, buyers, private third party lenders, in acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of all types of residential and mixed-use properties, joint ventures, sale and leasebacks, residential construction projects, landlord - tenant matters, real estate management negotiations and agreements, real estate tax mitigation solutions, and cross-border transactions. We work closely with the Creditor Rights Practice Department regarding foreclosures of distressed and tax delinquent properties. We also work closely with the Taxation, Corporate Law, Environmental, Trusts and Estates, and Matrimonial and Family Law Departments where necessary to ensure that all aspects of a client's situation are properly addressed.
The Firm is examining counsel and an authorized agent for Stewart Title Insurance Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company.
